Ingredients

3 lbs sugar
3 cups water
750 ml white rum
375 ml puncheon rum ( over proof )
3 -4 drops peppermint extract
3 -4 drops green food coloring ( or to taste )
3 -4 drops anise essence , no food coloring ( or to taste )
3 -4 drops mandarin orange essence
2 -3 drops red food coloring
2 -3 drops yellow food coloring ( or to taste )
4 -5 drops very strong coffee extract ( or to taste )

Instructions

1.In a large pot, bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring constantly to dissolve sugar.
2.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 5 minutes.
3.Remove from heat and let it cool up to room temperature.
4.Add the white rum, puncheon rum, and all the flavorings into the cooled sugar water and stir well.
5.You can modify the coloring/flavor/ and dosage of the extracts to your taste.
6.Pour the mixture into glass containers and seal them up for 1-2 months away from sunlight in a cool place. Shake them up gently every few days.
