Linzertorte is an Austrian pastry that originated in the city of Linz. It is typically made with almonds and raspberry jam, giving it a rich and fruity flavor. This recipe adds an extra element of flavor by using hazelnut meal instead of traditional almond meal. The result is a delicious and complex dessert that is perfect for a holiday or special occasion. Although the original recipe is made with a lattice crust, this version uses a solid crust on top for a different texture and a more refined look. It is perfect for impressing your guests or simply indulging in a luxurious treat.
