Ingredients

1 1/4 lbs pork tenderloin
1 1/2 inches fresh ginger , grated
2 garlic cloves , finely chopped
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup rice wine ( Mirin )
2 spring onions , chopped finely
3 tablespoons brown sugar , packed
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy bean paste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey
1 pinch salt
1 pinch fresh ground black pepper
Char Siu Pork is a quintessential Chinese dish that has become a favourite internationally. It is a flavoured barbecued dish that is usually made with pork. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.In a small bowl, mix the grated ginger, chopped garlic, light soy sauce, rice wine, chopped spring onions, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, soy bean paste, vegetable oil, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
3.Pour the mixture over the pork in a large ziplock bag, seal, and marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
4.Place the pork in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
5.Allow the pork to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
