Ingredients

2 onions , the more the better , cut in 1/2 and sliced
margarine
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
2 cans mushrooms , drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups water
3 teaspoons beef bouillon
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1 1 lb linguine or 1 lb spaghetti
1 container sour cream , light is fine
1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet , to color gravy
Linda's Beef Stroganoff is a classic Russian dish that has become a favorite in many households around the world. Instructions

1.In a large skillet over medium heat, cook onions in a little margarine until they start to soften.
2.Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
3.Add in the drained mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, 2 cups water, 3 teaspoons beef bouillon and Kitchen Bouquet. Stir together and bring to a simmer.
4.In a small bowl or cup, mix together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water until smooth. Add into the skillet and stir well until the mixture thickens.
5.Cook linguine or spaghetti al dente according to package directions. Drain and put back in the pot.
6.Mix in the beef mixture and sour cream until fully combined. Serve hot and enjoy!
