Ingredients

18 1/4 ounces super moist white cake mix ( I used Betty Crocker )
1/2 cup frozen lemonade concentrate , thawed ( put the rest in the freezer you can use it for other recipes and this one ! )
1 cup sour cream
3 ounces cream cheese , room temperature
3 egg whites
2 tablespoons lemon zest ( no pith )
1 can whipped cream frosting ( I used Betty Crocker ) or ( 12 ounce ) can your favorite white frosting
2 tablespoons limoncello

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit or 175 Celsius. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, thawed lemonade concentrate, sour cream, cream cheese, egg whites, and lemon zest. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
3.Pour the mixture evenly into the muffin cups, filling each cup about 3/4 of the way full.
4.Bake the cupcakes for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack.
5.In a separate bowl, mix together the whipped cream frosting, limoncello, and lemon zest until combined. Frost the cooled cupcakes with the frosting mixture. Enjoy!
