1/2 - 1 red bell pepper , 1/4 to 3/8-inch dice ( if you first cut strips , and then slice across the strips diagonally , you get pretty little red diam )
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon ground sichuan pepper ( optional )
1/2 cup chicken broth ( optional )
