8 kaiser rolls , thinly sliced
2 eggs , slightly beaten

1/2 teaspoon marjoram
3/4 cup milk , warm
1/8 teaspoon pepper , white

2 liters water

375 g beef liver

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix the kaiser roll slices, eggs, salt, marjoram and warm milk.

4.Wet your hands with water and shape the mixture into small balls.
5.Roll the balls in the dry breadcrumbs until they are completely coated.
6.In a large pot, heat the beef consomme over medium heat.
7.Add the chopped onion, remaining breadcrumbs, and parsley to the pot. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.
8.Gently add the beef liver and let it cook for 10 minutes.
9.Add water and salt to the pot and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the prepared dumplings to the pot.
10.Let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
11.Serve hot, and sprinkle with some chopped parsley.
