Ingredients

8 cups milk
1/2 cup yogurt
Lebanese Laban (Yogurt) is a popular dairy dish in Lebanon, and is often served as a side dish or dip with savory dishes. Instructions

1.Pour the milk into a large pot and bring it to a boil on medium heat. Stirring occasionally.
2.Once the milk has boiled, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down until it is lukewarm.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together the yogurt and 1 cup of the lukewarm milk until well combined.
4.Pour the yogurt mixture into the larger pot of milk and stir gently.
5.Cover the pot with a lid and wrap it with a thick towel or blanket to keep it warm. Leave it undisturbed in a warm place for 8-10 hours.
6.After 8-10 hours, the yogurt should be set and can be transferred to containers and kept in the fridge until ready to serve.
