1 gallon milk
1/4 cup dry milk
6 -8 ounces plain yogurt ( this is your starter )

Instructions

5.Let the mixture sit in a warm place, such as a preheated oven or in an insulated container, for 4-12 hours until it thickens and turns into yogurt.
6.Once set, strain the yogurt through cheesecloth or a strainer to separate any excess whey from the yogurt. Store the yogurt in the fridge in an airtight container.
