Ingredients

1 jar thick & chunky salsa ( medium or hot )
1/4 cup raisins ( plumped in hot water )
1 cup light cream cheese spread , softened
1/2 cup nonfat sour cream
1 can crushed pineapple , well drained
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
1/4 cup finely chopped pimiento or 1/4 cup red pepper
The Layered Cuban Dip features a unique combination of ground beef, pineapple, and cream cheese that is sure to dazzle taste buds. Instructions

1.Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
2.Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then stir in the cumin, oregano, and the entire jar of salsa. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and drained pineapple. Stir until smooth.
4.Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the bottom of a deep-dish pie plate or a 9-inch square baking dish. Top with the beef mixture, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.
5.Sprinkle the plumped raisins, green onion, and pimiento or red pepper on top of the beef.
6.Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
