Ingredients

9 lasagna noodles , uncooked
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey ( or meatball mix ) or 1 1/2 lbs ground beef ( or meatball mix )
15 ounces ricotta cheese
15 ounces tomato sauce
2 1/2 cups parmesan cheese , grated
2 cups mozzarella cheese , grated
2 tablespoons minced garlic ( more if you like )
2 large eggs
1 small onions , finely diced or 1 small onion powder
1 teaspoon sugar
italian seasoning
oregano
garlic salt
olive oil
black pepper
Lasagna Squisito is a classic Italian dish that is loved by many. The layers of meat, cheese, and tomato perfectly blend to create a hearty and flavorful meal. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2.Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
3.In a pan, brown the ground turkey or beef over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
4.Add garlic, onions, sugar, oregano, and italian seasoning to the meat mixture and stir until well combined.
5.In another bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, black pepper, and garlic salt until smooth.
6.Spread a layer of tomato sauce onto the bottom of prepared baking dish. Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Add half of the meat mixture and then half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese.
7.Repeat the layering process by placing another layer of 3 lasagna noodles on top of the cheese. Add the remaining half of meat mixture, ricotta cheese mixture, and another cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese. Finish with the final layer of lasagna noodles and top with more tomato sauce and grated parmesan cheese.
8.Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then serve hot.
