PROS

It’s a great option for anyone short on time who wants a hearty italian meal.

The recipe is versatile – it can be made with either ground beef or italian sausages, and cottage cheese or ricotta cheese.

This Lasagna retains all the traditional flavors and textures of a classic Lasagna.

CONS

Microwaving Lasagna may result in a slightly differently textured dish compared to oven-baked Lasagna.
For some people, microwave Lasagna does not offer the same level of ‘crunchiness’ as oven-baked Lasagna.

Microwaving this dish can be a little tricky and requires attention to timing and temperature.

The size of your microwave is also a factor that could affect cooking times.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

Lasagna is a high calorie, high fat meal that should be enjoyed in moderation. It is a good source of protein and calcium when made with cheese, meat, and tomato sauce but should be balanced with vegetables and fiber-rich foods. Cooking with lean meat can also help reduce fat and calorie intake.
