2 bottles Guinness stout
4 carrots , peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
2 large parsnips , peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
2 rutabagas , peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces

Instructions

6.Add the chopped carrots, parsnips, and rutabagas to the dutch oven, cover with lid, and transfer to the oven.
7.Bake for 2.5-3 hours or until the lamb shanks are tender and the vegetables are cooked. Serve hot.
