4 tablespoons oil ( vegetable , canola or olive )
2 garlic cloves , pressed
1 can plum tomatoes ( good quality one )
1/4 cup loosely packed cilantro leaf , chopped ( some stems but not the thick ones )
sea salt , to taste
water

Instructions

1.In a pan, heat oil over medium heat
2.Add garlic and sauté for 20 seconds
3.Add tomatoes, cilantro, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the tomatoes are soft, stirring occasionally
4.Remove from heat and let it cool
5.Once cooled, blend the mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth
6.Add water until the desired thickness is achieved and blend again
