Ingredients

2 liters milk
8 -10 green cardamom pods
4 -5 tablespoons sugar
15 g almonds , blanched and chopped
25 g pistachios , unsalted and chopped

Instructions

1.In a large, heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil over medium-high heat.
2.Add the crushed cardamom pods and sugar, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
3.Cook the milk on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
4.Add the chopped almonds and pistachios, and cook for another 30 minutes, stirring continuously.
5.Remove the pan from heat and let it cool.
6.Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small plastic cups.
7.Cover the molds/cups with aluminum foil or plastic wrap, and freeze for at least 6 hours.
8.Once frozen, remove from the molds/cups, and serve.
