1 large onion , finely chopped ( about 1 1/2 cups )
2 green peppers , chopped ( about 1 1/2 cups )
1 garlic clove , minced

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1 roasting chickens , cut into serving-sized pieces
1 cup water
4 potatoes , cleaned and cut into quarters ( about 2 lbs )
3 ripe tomatoes , cut into chunks ( about 1 1/4 cups )
2 cups coconut milk
1/4 cup fresh cilantro or 1/4 cup parsley , chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice ( optional )

Instructions

1.Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil or butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

3.Add chicken and cook for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is browned on all sides.
