1 tablespoon whiskey

Instructions

1.In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sour cream, white sugar, vanilla extract, and whiskey until well combined.
2.Gradually add flour, stirring until a soft dough forms.
3.On a floured surface, knead the dough until it is smooth and pliable.
4.Roll out small portions of the dough to 1/8 inch thickness on a floured surface.
5.Cut into thin strips about 5 inches long and 1 inch wide. Cut a slit in the center of each strip and pull one end through.
6.In a deep fryer or heavy skillet, heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
7.Fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
8.Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
