Ingredients

1 teaspoon cayenne powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
salt ( to taste )
black pepper ( to taste )
1 1/2 lbs ground sirloin or 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1 medium onion , diced
1 medium green pepper , diced
1 jalapeno pepper , minced
2 garlic cloves , minced
1 can diced tomatoes , un-drained ( use a bit of water to get all juice from the can )
1 can tomato sauce ( use a bit of water to get all sauce from the can )
2 tablespoons tomato paste
hot sauce ( like Mike 's Red Hot or Tabasco , to taste )
1 can kidney beans ( or any kind of bean you have on-hand , drained and un-rinsed )
grated cheddar cheese ( for garnish )
tortilla chips ( for dipping ) ( optional )
