Ingredients

1 lb fresh soy bean sprouts
3 green onions
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon toasted black sesame seeds or 1 teaspoon toasted white sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes ( Korean hot pepper , if available )
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon fermented soybean chili paste ( koch ' u jang )
Korean Soybean Sprout Salad (K'ong Namul) is a traditional Korean dish that is commonly served as a side dish or appetizer. It is made with fresh soy bean sprouts, green onions, garlic, and a mixture of spices and flavors to create a unique taste that is both refreshing and healthy. Instructions

1.Rinse soy bean sprouts thoroughly with water and drain.
2.Cut off the ends of the green onions and slice them thinly crosswise.
3.Peel the garlic cloves and cut them into small pieces.
4.In a large pot, bring about 4 cups of water to a boil and add the sliced green onions and garlic to the pot.
5.Add the soy bean sprouts to the pot and stir them gently.
6.Cook the soy bean sprouts for 2-3 minutes and remove them from the heat.
7.Rinse the soy bean sprouts with cold water and drain well.
8.In a mixing bowl, combine the soy bean sprouts, sesame oil, fermented soybean chili paste, toasted sesame seeds, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
9.Mix all ingredients together well and serve immediately.
