12 -15 inches burdock root ( gobo )
1/2 small carrot
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sake
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon white sesame seeds

Instructions

1.Peel the burdock root and cut into matchsticks. Cut the carrot into matchsticks as well.
2.Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then add burdock root and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
3.Add sake, sugar, and soy sauce to the pan and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
4.Add carrots to the pan and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
5.Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
