2 cups long grain white rice
4 cups water

Instructions

1.Rinse rice until the water runs clear, and then soak for 20 minutes.

3.Form the meat mixture into small, oval-shaped patties, and then fry them in vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and golden brown.

6.Drain the rice and add it to the pot, stirring well. Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pot and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through.
7.Serve the Kifta patties and crispy potatoes on top of the rice.
