2 cups chicken broth ( you can swap 1 c apple cider or juice for 1 c of broth if you like it a little sweeter )
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
12 allspice berries
1/2 tablespoon coriander seed
1/2 cup golden raisin
2 tart apples , cored and cut into wedges ( Jonathan or Braeburn work well )
