2 1/2 teaspoons dry active yeast
1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
1 pinch sugar
3 3/4 cups bread flour

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, pour lukewarm water and sprinkle sugar and yeast on top. Gently whisk to combine and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
2.Add bread flour, salt, and vegetable oil to the bowl with the yeast mixture. Stir the ingredients with a wooden spoon until a rough dough forms.
3.Knead the dough for 10-12 minutes on a floured surface until smooth and elastic. Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rise for 1-2 hours in a warm place.
4.Preheat the oven to 200°C. Punch the dough down and knead again. Roll it into a 1/2 inch thick circle. Place it on a baking sheet and prick the dough with a fork to form small holes.
5.Bake it for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove it from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack. Cut it into wedges and serve.
