2 turnips , chopped

1/2 lb baby carrots , sliced lengthwise
1 cup frozen peas
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup pearl barley
