Ingredients

500 g plain flour
50 ml ghee , melted
1 egg
10 g baking powder
100 ml milk
salt , to taste
250 g potatoes , boiled and grated
100 g brown onions , chopped
20 g coriander seeds , crushed
50 g pomegranate seeds ( optional )
50 g mixed dried fruit , chopped ( optional )
25 g coriander leaves , chopped
Kashmiri Aloo Paratha is a popular dish in Indian cuisine. It consists of a flat bread made from flour, ghee and milk, filled with a spiced mashed potato mixture. The parathas are cooked over a griddle until golden and crispy. They are often served with yogurt, chutney or pickle. Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder together. Add ghee and mix well.
2.Add egg and knead well. Add enough milk until a soft dough is formed. Cover the dough and leave it for 30 minutes.
3.In a medium bowl, combine grated potatoes, chopped onions, crushed coriander seeds, chopped coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds and mixed dried fruit. Mix well and set aside.
4.Divide the dough into equal sized balls. Take one ball and roll it out into a small circle. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center and fold the dough over the filling to make a ball. Repeat for all the balls.
5.Preheat a flat pan or tawa over medium heat. Roll out each ball into a flat circle. Place the circle on the preheated pan and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the bottom is cooked.
6.Flip the paratha and brush some ghee over the top. Cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the bottom is cooked. Flip again and brush some ghee over the top. Cook until both sides are golden and crispy. Repeat for all the parathas.
