Today, it's a popular dish all over Switzerland, Austria, and Germany, and can be found in many restaurants and homes. Kasespatzle consists of small, soft dumplings made from a batter of eggs, flour, milk, and mashed roasted garlic. They are then tossed with grated Emmentaler cheese and served hot. This dish is a perfect representation of the hearty, comforting cuisine that the Alps are known for.

3.In a large bowl, combine the milk, parsley, basil, melted unsalted butter, salt, and beaten eggs.
4.Squeeze the roasted garlic from the cloves into the bowl with the milk mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
