Ingredients

200 g panir ( tofu )
2 large onions
2 red capsicums
1/2 cup tomatoes , paste of
1 piece ginger
salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic paste
1 pinch turmeric powder
1 1/2 teaspoons red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
3 tablespoons ghee or 3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon coriander leaves , chopped
Kadai Paneer is one of the most popular vegetarian dishes in Indian cuisine. Instructions

1.Cut the paneer (tofu) into cubes, then set aside.
2.Finely chop the onions, red capsicum and ginger.
3.Sauté the onions in ghee (or oil) until they turn golden brown.
4.Add the ginger and garlic paste and stir well for a minute.
5.Add tomato paste and cook until the oil starts to separate.
6.Add the chopped red capsicum and cook for another two minutes.
7.Add turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt, thereafter cook for another minute.
8.Add the paneer and stir well until the masala is evenly coated.
9.Finally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
