2 tablespoons olive oil , divided
1 green bell pepper , sliced into thin rings
1 cup small shrimp - peeled and deveined
1 cup crabmeat
1 sweet onion , chopped
1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon white sugar
3/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 slices crisp cooked bacon , crumbled
1 hard-cooked egg , peeled and sliced ( optional )

Instructions

1.Peel the green bananas, slice them thinly and add them to a bowl.

3.In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil and saute the shrimp and crabmeat for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and white sugar.
4.Add the seafood mixture to the bowl of bananas and bell pepper.
5.In a small bowl, mix the red wine vinegar and crumbled bacon. Pour it over the banana salad.
6.Optionally, add sliced hard-cooked egg to the salad. Serve chilled and enjoy!
