Ingredients

1 lb whole chickens , quartered lengthwise or 1 lb chicken piece
2 limes , juice of
1/2 cup olive oil
1 onion , minced
1/2 teaspoon saffron
salt and pepper , to taste

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, minced onion, saffron, salt and pepper together.
2.Add chicken to the marinade mixture and toss to coat well.
3.Marinate the chicken in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight for best results.
4.Preheat grill to medium-high heat..
5.Remove chicken from marinade, discard any remaining marinade.
6.Thread chicken pieces onto skewers and grill for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.
