1 package Mac n ' Cheese Deluxe , dinner mix ( Kraft )
1 lb ground beef
1 1/4 ounces taco seasoning mix ( one package )
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup jalapeno , finely chopped
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese , shredded ( divided )
1/4 cup black olives , chopped
1 can chili with beans ( Chunky Brand )
1 cup taco flavor Doritos , crumbled
1 cup salsa ( thick and chunky )
sour cream ( garnish )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Cook the Mac n' Cheese Deluxe according to the directions on the package.
3.Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.
4.Add the taco seasoning mix and ¾ cup of water to the ground beef. Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
5.Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sour cream and chopped jalapeno.
6.In a 2-quart baking dish, layer half of the mac n' cheese on the bottom. Top with half of the ground beef mixture and ¾ cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
7.Layer the rest of the mac n' cheese on top of the beef mixture. Top with the remaining ground beef mixture and a can of chili with beans.
8.Add the chopped black olives and crumbled Doritos on top of the chili layer. Spread 1 cup of thick and chunky salsa on top of the Doritos.
9.Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the salsa.
10.Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
11.Serve with a dollop of sour cream on top, if desired.
