Ingredients

8 italian sweet sausage
4 teaspoons olive oil
1 can whole green chilies , split open and cut in half ( I use Ortega Brand )
1 can marinara sauce
4 slices provolone cheese or 4 slices mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 French rolls or 4 steak rolls

Instructions

1.Preheat grill to high heat.
2.Brush sausages with olive oil and grill until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
3.In a medium-sized pot over medium heat, combine green chilies and marinara sauce. Cook until heated through, approximately 5-10 minutes.
4.Place each sausage on the rolls, spoon the marinara sauce over the sausage and top with a slice of cheese.
5.Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve hot.
