Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9 inch tube pan.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, 2 1/2 cups white sugar, baking powder, salt, apples, oil, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
3.Pour half of batter into prepared pan. Mix remaining 5 tablespoons white sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon and sprinkle over batter in pan. Pour remaining batter over all.
4.Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 - 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Can be served warm or cool.
