9 ounces barilla flat lasagna noodles ( no boil )
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

1.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, onion, celery, basil, garlic, lemon zest, and salt, and brown the turkey, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Drain off any excess fat.
2.In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. When the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook until the mixture is smooth and bubbling, about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and is bubbly. Whisk in the salt, nutmeg, tarragon, marjoram, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
3.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
4.Spread a thin layer of the sauce in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with a layer of noodles, then a layer of the turkey mixture, then a layer of sauce, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers until you have used all the ingredients, ending with a layer of sauce and Parmesan cheese.
5.Bake for 45 minutes, or until the lasagna is hot and bubbly and the cheese is browned and melted. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
