1/2 small sweet onion , thinly sliced ( see directions )
1 teaspoon yellow mustard ( a touch of Dijon mustard is also nice )
3 ham slices , cut into small squares ( sandwich meat slices )
1/2 cup mayonnaise ( I use Kewpie brand or Miracle Whip )
1 -2 slice fuji apple ( about 1/8 inch slices )

Instructions

1.Boil potatoes with salted water until potatoes are cooked.
2.Slice onions thinly and put them in water for 5 minutes to remove onion smell.
3.Cut hams and cucumbers into small pieces.
4.Slice apples into 1/8 inch slices.
5.Mash potatoes while they’re still hot.
6.Add mustard and mayonnaise and mix until smooth.
7.Add all other ingredients and mix gently.
8.Chill for a few hours before serving.
