Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, onions, celery, and garlic over medium-high heat until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender.
3.Add the cans of tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce to the skillet, along with salt, pepper, sugar, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, and minced parsley. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for at least 30 minutes.
4.Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the dish, followed by a layer of lasagna noodles. 5.Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown and the sauce is bubbly. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
