Ingredients

300 g mushrooms ( peeled and chopped )
1 medium onion , finely chopped
3 large garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper
1 teaspoon thyme ( dried )
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
Italian Mushroom Pate is a vegan, vegetarian-friendly dish that’s perfect for those who require healthy snack options or want to entertain guests. Instructions

1.Heat olive oil in a pan over low heat and sauté onions and garlic for 5 minutes until they become translucent.
2.Add chopped mushrooms and continue to cook for 10-12 minutes until all the moisture has evaporated and the mushrooms are browned.
3.Add chili powder, salt, pepper, and thyme to the pan and mix well. Turn off the heat.
4.Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, add the breadcrumbs to the mixture, mix well, and place in a food processor.
5.Pulse the mixture until it forms a smooth paste.
6.Transfer the pate to a container and chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
