1 large zucchini , cut in half lengthwise
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1 onion , chopped

1 1/2 pounds ground beef sirloin
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 can spaghetti sauce , divided
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.

6.Pour the remaining spaghetti sauce over the zucchini boats and cover the dish with foil.
7.Bake for 40 minutes.
8.Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each zucchini boat.
9.Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
