4 chicken breast halves ( bone in )
1 onion , halved

2 cans chicken broth

2 chicken bouillon cubes

6 -8 green onions , thinly sliced
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried rosemary , crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
2 garlic cloves , minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cans kidney beans , rinsed and drained
1/4 cup romano cheese , grated

Instructions

1.In a large pot, combine chicken, onion, carrot, celery, chicken broth, water, chicken bouillon cubes and bay leaves.

4.Remove chicken from the pot, let cool and shred the meat.

6.Add the shredded chicken and kidney beans and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
7.Serve hot, garnished with grated Romano cheese.
