Ingredients

2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/3 cup soy sauce ( I use low sodium , darn high blood pressure )
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 garlic cloves ( minced )
3 scallions , chopped
3 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper ( I used a little more )
wood skewer , soaked in water over 1 hour ( bamboo worked for me )

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, scallions, thyme leaves, allspice, black pepper, cinnamon, and red pepper.

3.Add chicken to the bowl, mix and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
4.Preheat grill to high heat.
5.Thread the chicken onto wooden skewers that have been soaked in water.
6.Grill chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side until cooked through.
7.Serve hot with your favorite sides.
