walnut halves
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350F/180C degrees.
2.Grease a baking sheet.
3.Mix the flour, butter, sugar, and ground nuts until you have a smooth dough.
4.Roll it out and cut it into rounds (with a glass for example).
5.Place the rounds onto the greased baking sheet with some space between each cookie.
6.Add a half walnut to the top of each round.
7.Bake the cookies for around 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.
8.Take the unsweetened chocolate squares and melt them with the water, then add the butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until you have a smooth mixture.
9.When the cookies are done, place them in pairs and spread the chocolate icing on the flat bottoms, then stick the two pairs together to form a sandwich and let them cool down before serving.
