Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.Grease a large baking sheet.
3.In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
4.Add buttermilk, raisins, eggs and caraway seeds to flour mixture and stir until well combined.
5.Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
6.Shape dough into a round loaf and place on prepared baking sheet.
7.Use a sharp knife to cut an 'X' into the top of the loaf.
8.Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
