Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 tablespoons sugar ( plus what falls into bowl LOL )
1/4 cup butter , I use butter flavor crisco
3/4 - 1 cup raisins ( soaked in warm water until plumped . My tweak is to use Jameson 's , just a little bit more than to cov )
2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1 egg
2/3 cup buttermilk
