5 lbs lamb , shoulder roast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

3 cups beef broth
4 ounces unsalted butter

14 baby carrots , chopped

2 cups flour
2 cups Bisquick
1 cup 2 % low-fat milk
4 ounces goat cheese , crumbled
2 teaspoons parsley , chopped
2 teaspoons marjoram
2 teaspoons thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 450F.
2.Rub the lamb with salt and pepper.

9.Drop the batter onto the stew and bake for another 10-12 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked. Serve hot.
