Ingredients

1 tablespoon oil
1 onion , finely chopped
1 garlic clove , crushed
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons mild curry paste
1 tablespoon mango chutney
500 g minced beef
375 g ground sausage
1/2 cup stale breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
5 sheets frozen puff pastry , thawed
1 egg , lightly beaten
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/4 cup mango chutney
1 tub natural yoghurt
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander
fresh coriander ( to garnish )
Sausage rolls are a popular snack or appetizer in many countries around the world. This Indian Flavoured Sausage Roll recipe puts a spicy twist on the classic sausage roll by incorporating traditional Indian flavours like curry paste, ginger, and mango chutney into the filling. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).
2.Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, then add the onion and cook until softened.
3.Add the garlic, ginger, curry paste, and mango chutney to the pan and cook for a further 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
4.Add the minced beef, ground sausage, breadcrumbs, and fresh coriander to the pan. Use a wooden spoon to break up the meat and combine the ingredients well.
5.Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the meat has browned. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
6.Cut each sheet of pastry in half. Place a heaped tablespoon of the meat mixture down the length of each pastry half.
7.Roll the pastry around the filling and brush the edges with the beaten egg to seal.
8.Cut each roll into 4-5 pieces and place on a lined baking tray. Brush the tops of the rolls with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
9.Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
10.Combine the mango chutney, yoghurt, and fresh coriander in a small bowl. Serve the sausage rolls hot with the chutney dip and garnish with extra coriander leaves.
