1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
2 cardamom pods ( the seeds from ... )
1 cup plain yogurt
2 cups buttermilk
1 -2 teaspoon rose water ( optional )

Instructions

1.In a saucepan, mix sugar, water, and crushed cardamom pod seeds together. Bring the mixture to a boil and let the sugar dissolve. Remove from heat and let cool.
2.In a blender, blend the buttermilk and yogurt together until smooth.
3.Add the cooled sugar syrup and blend again. If you are using rose water add it and blend one more time.
4.Pour the mixture into glasses, add ice cubes if you wish and sprinkle some ground cardamom on top.
5.Serve up and enjoy!
