Ingredients

3 pounds bone-in chicken pieces
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon meat tenderizer
2 cups plain yogurt , divided
3 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons ground coriander
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 cloves garlic , minced
The Indian Barbeque Chicken is a delicious recipe that adds a twist to the traditional roasted chicken. Instructions

1.Clean and wash the chicken pieces properly.
2.Use a sharp knife to make a few slits on each piece of chicken.
3.In a mixing bowl, add the fresh lemon juice, meat tenderizer and 1 cup of plain yogurt. Mix well.
4.Add in the ground cumin, ground coriander, chopped cilantro, paprika, ground turmeric, salt, pepper and minced garlic to the mixture. Mix well.
5.Taste the marinade and adjust seasonings as per your preference.
6.Coat the chicken pieces with the marinade. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 24 hours.
7.Preheat the oven to 400°F.
8.Place the chicken pieces on a greased baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
9.Brush with remaining 1 cup of plain yogurt and grill the chicken for another 5-7 minutes.
10.Check if the chicken is cooked through and serve hot.
