6 cups sliced tart apples
1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter , softened
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix

Impossible French Apple Pie is a unique take on the traditional apple pie recipe. Instructions

1.Heat oven to 325°F. Grease 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
2.In large bowl, toss apples with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon and the nutmeg. Place in pie plate.
3.In blender, place milk, 2 tablespoons softened butter, the eggs, granulated sugar and Bisquick mix. Cover; blend on high speed 15 seconds or until smooth. Pour over apples in pie plate.
4.Mix remaining 1/2 cup Bisquick mix, the nuts, brown sugar and remaining 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut in 3 tablespoons firm butter, using pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knives, until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Sprinkle over top.
5.Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes.
