9 lasagna noodles , cooked and drained
16 ounces part-skim ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
4 cups pasta sauce
1 box frozen spinach , thawed and drained
1 lb 97 % lean ground beef , browned and drained
salt and pepper , to taste

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, salt, and pepper.
3.In a 9x13-inch baking dish, assemble 3 lasagna noodles side by side. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Layer frozen spinach over the ricotta mixture and sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Layer 3 more lasagna noodles on top of the cheese. Spread the rest of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Layer the browned ground beef over the ricotta mixture and top with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Layer 3 more lasagna noodles on top of the cheese. Pour pasta sauce over the lasagna, spreading it evenly. Top with remaining shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil.
4.Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese is golden and bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
