Ingredients

2 medium potatoes , boiled
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 lemons , juice of
1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
3 -5 green chilies , finely chopped
salt
1 bunch mint
1 bunch coriander leaves
green chili
tamarind pulp
salt
tomato ketchup , as required
4 slices bread , diagonally cut
2 onions , finely chopped
1 cup of yellow sev ( used in bhel puris )
oil , as required to deep fry ( use as much as would come half-way up the sides of the wok )

Instructions

1.Take the boiled potatoes and mash them in a bowl.
2.Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped green chilies, and salt to the bowl.
3.Make a paste by mixing mint, coriander leaves, green chili, tamarind pulp, and salt in a grinder or mortal pestle.
4.Cut each slice of bread diagonally and spread the prepared paste on each slice.
5.Top with the mashed potato mixture on one side and sprinkled with finely chopped onion and yellow sev.
6.Close with the other slice of bread to make a sandwich.
7.Press it lightly to make a compact sandwich.
8.Deep fry the sandwich in hot oil until crispy and golden.
9.Once done, remove the sandwich on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil and cut it into triangles.
