Hungarian Oxtail Soup is a traditional dish that is often served during the winter months. This hearty soup is chock-full of vegetables and slow-cooked oxtails that give it a rich, savoury flavour. The oxtails are first roasted in the oven, then simmered in a large pot of water with onions, marjoram and bay leaf for several hours. Once cooked, the oxtails are shredded and mixed with diced potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, and canned tomatoes.
